My Summer Vacation, Part II: London

Post image for My Summer Vacation, Part II: London

There is so much to love about London — historic sites and museums, lush and expansive parks, the Thames, and a youthful energy that is intoxicating. But, I had to laugh when I poured through my photos. I snapped just as many shots of food as I did of sites! Most of the food-related photos were taken at Borough Market and Neal’s Yard Dairy, but I also tried to capture our experience at Ottolenghi’s memorable spot, Nopi. I hope you enjoy them.

Beautiful photos of London (and the Bug)! The shakshuka looks divine!

Hi Winifred, thank you so much! I know you’d love Nopi. We wish we had had time to get back there for a dinner. Next time!

I just got texts from my dear friend who is at NOPI celebrating her birthday today! That shakshuka looks fantastic. Wonderful photos Carol – your eye just keeps getting better all the time. So much fun to live vicariously through your lens.

Hi Beth, the shakshuka was amazing and so was everything we ate there! I’m ready to go back right now. And, thank you so much for the encouragement and kind words about my photos. Means so much to me! xo

London is in my top 5 “Cities Where I’m Sure I Could Live” list. That ice cream truck sealed the deal.

Hi Gail, I’m with you. London is magical in so many ways, including the ice cream:) Thank you for checking in!
